Hundreds and Thousands of years ago Archimedes founded a place for the creatures of England to seek refuge and placed it onto an island where only magic people could find it. Years later witches from Salem fled to the island. Elementals from Australia and Africa ran here to grow and learn about their abilities.
Archimedes descendants took over the island one by one until a certain Daniel and Mary Shay made it into an Academy, proving its excellence their son Robert Shay grew up to become a principal, becoming one of the most powerful wizards though being born human. The school has since been running for 50 years.

Families move here and parents become teachers, and children become pupils. Though most adults move onto the human world after learning to cope with their gifts some stay and help becoming custodians, cooks, teachers, and coaches. Students grow up in a safe environment and master their abilities with the best of their kind. Each being sorted into a house when young:
Vander: represented by water, usually the dramatic ones in the school, they are smart and highly supportive and loyal.
Affyre:Sarcastic, and tough. Their symbol is fire and it shows with their strong and will-stand-up-for-what-they-believe-in attitudes.
Binde:Optimistic and energetic, their element is air. They are carefree and some carry the ditzy quality.
Verden:The most outspoken join this earth house. They are up for anything and enjoy being the center of attention.
Elektricitet: The brainy electricity element is usually where the honor students are found. They are very stubborn and enjoy being together.
